S67 Review

Written by Amstel Flanders at 23:35 24/1-2024

Greetings, fellow managers and guest people. Once again we have finished another season and it’s time for an overall recount on our team performance.

This season had quite a large number of successful break aways from other teams, the only riders that weren’t able to score; ours. Luckily for the squad, the middle part and final races of the season brought better results, cash and parties. At the end, we managed to stay again in D3 with our second best score ever. Not bad at all…

S67 witness the depart of two of our veteran legends: Aksentiev and Congo. You guys were a big part of our success you’ll never be forgotten, with the Macedonian GOAT bringing the first SC jersey of the team and Congo, a cheap bargain that quickly gained a crucial point to increase his RV, and of course with his effective legs in competition.

A flag we like the most: Greenland. Iranman became the only winner of the team (besides Lindberg, who won in WT) and now holds the record of most wins at Issippoq Nittaappoq (3 wins). Our aims in the different SCs were close but not enough, losing against weak doped riders.

Training also failed and our scoutmen decided to go on the market to find good cyclist to fill the spots. Lindberg was again our best scorer thanks to a couple points to beat Iranman, let’s have a look on our team leaders.

Surely not the same numbers of last season, still better than nothing (giggles). We need to focus our energies on being more constant and kick any enemy alongside our bicycles and make them kiss the asphalt. Yeah, many injuries thanks to stubborn cyclist hitting ours.

And keep Emil. Definitely a great move.

Team Formand United at 06:55 21/4-2024
Nice move to sell the Freak - early maxer . I wasn't lucky that day :)

Amstel Flanders at 04:07 26/1-2024
Yeah, i had decent luck with BAs in S65 and 66. Like two or three results per season but this past season best place was a 4th (Nkurunziza). So I have to try recover in that niche, besides selling that danish guy.

Universal Soup at 04:03 26/1-2024
looked over your team a while ago and saw the jersey ( then a season ago ) and in my mind it's probably still s67. But you have some nice riders coming in and hopefully also less problems with other peoples' BA's ( or more luck in your own ).

Amstel Flanders at 04:00 26/1-2024
Almost two seasons ago. And yeah, it was a recap of legend Aksentiev.

Universal Soup at 03:57 26/1-2024
Oh, excusez moi, that was two seasons ago. Read that part of your PR wrong then.

Amstel Flanders at 03:55 26/1-2024
  What Jersey?

Universal Soup at 03:55 26/1-2024
Congrats on the jersey and hopefully more luck for this season!
